Everyone Needs To Read The Message Hillary Clinton Left For This Secret Facebook Group Before Donald Trump Won Presidency

Before Donald Trump was announced as the winner of the 2016 presidential election, it was a time of optimism for Hillary Clinton supporters. And no one better articulated that than Clinton in a Facebook message to Pantsuit Nation. If you’re upset with the results of the election, reading Clinton’s hopeful note might depress you more. But her words about community are what this great nation is all about and are important to read even though Clinton didn’t win on Nov. 8th.
The secret Facebook group Pantsuit Nation was created less than three weeks ago, but already has more than 2.5 million members, according to The New York Times. To be a part of the group, which encouraged members to show their support for Clinton by wearing a pantsuit to the polls, you had to be invited.

But even if you aren’t a member of this secret Facebook group, you can still read the message that Clinton sent to her pantsuit pals, thanks to it going viral.

While this message from Clinton (shared by her campaign’s digital director Jenna Lowenstein) was posted before the results of the election were in, they perhaps resonate even more after the election.

No, we didn’t break through “that highest, hardest glass ceiling,” but now is a time for Americans to be united in a “vision for a brighter future for our children” — no matter are different views on political candidates.

The 2016 presidential election has been super divisive for our nation. And if you supported Clinton, you’re sure to be going through a series of emotions right now. But don’t let Clinton’s message to Pantsuit Nation be in vain — Americans need one another right now to be the best we can be.
