NSCDC Parades Fake Currency Agent, Other Criminals In Sokoto

Men of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Sokoto Command on Thursday paraded one Mr Collins Nzewewe of Imo State for printing fake currency alongside other suspected area boys who stabbed innocent people at will.

The 42 years old Mr Collins and father of seven, who hails from Orlu village of Orlu South local government, Imo state, admitted that he was introduced to the trade by one Abdulaziz from Niger Republic.

Collins who lived within the metropolis decried that he was only but a motorcycle mechanic in sokoto state and have stayed for about 3 years in the state leaving his family behind in Imo.

Parading Mr Collins alongside other hoodlums, Sokoto Commandant, NSCDC, Babangida Abdullahi Dutsenma said, the command acted on intelligence report to get on the fake money printer.
According to him, Mr Collins has so perfected the dubious act of money printing that his printed monies looked original.

On the other suspected paraded hoodlums, Babangida Dutsenma said, 3 of them are specialized Area Boys who stabbed innocent people at will.

The NSCDC Commandant affirmed that before the arrest, the Area Boys had stabbed no less than 4 persons who are currently receiving treatments at various hospitals within the metropolis.

He added that the issue of Area Boys in sokoto if not properly checked potent great danger in the near future as it has become more of a volition for some youths, especially within the metropolis.
“Area Boys in Sokoto is not sponsored but a matters of interest. And I see Area Boys as a disaster coming to the state that deserves enough measure or else they will make the state unbearable”.

Giving reasons for the existence and flourishing obnoxiously unacceptable act of these Area Boys in the state, NSCDC  Commandant said a good number of the boys joined as a platform of testing their vooddo powers among other factors.
