Man Remanded For Being in Possession of Human Head
An Ado-Ekiti Chief Magistrates’ Court has remanded a 21-year-old man, Tosin Oluwafemi, in prison for alleged murder.
The Prosecutor, Insp. Caleb Leranmo, told the court that the accused committed the offence on February 14 at Ifaki-Ekiti.
He said that the accused was charged with conspiracy, unlawful possession of human head and murder of a 12-year-old boy, Joshua Ojo. He said that the accused went to pick the boy from his school at Ifaki community primary school in Ifaki-Ekiti, murdered him and cut off his head.
He said the offence contravened sections 320, 329A and 319 of the Criminal Code Cap C16 Laws of Ekiti State, 2012. The plea of the accused was not taken.
The Chief Magistrate, Adesoji Adegboye, remanded the accused in prison till the outcome of the advice from Director of Public Prosecution.
He adjourned the case till April 5 for mention.
