Assembly Seeks Open Grazing Law Enforcement
Ogun State House of Assembly yesterday urged Governor Dapo Abiodun to begin implementation of the State Animal Grazing Regulation and Cattle Ranch Establishment Law, 2020, passed by it and assented to by the governor about a month ago, as the dry season approaches.
It said this would prevent recurrence of attacks on human beings and farmlands, which often occurred in the dry season, especially in Yewa area of the state.
Speaker Kunle Oluomo gave the advice while responding to the submission of a member representing Yewa North I State Constituency, Adegoke Adeyanju, who spoke under Personal Explanation.
He said the Special Adviser on Security to the Governor, AIG Olusola Subaru (rtd) and other concerned government officials should set machineries in motion towards liaising with security formations for compliance with all sections of the Law.
