What God Told Me When I Prayed Against Coronavirus – Pastor Adeboye Speaks Amid Omicron Fears

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has disclosed the answer to his prayers when he sought God regarding coronavirus (COVID-19).

Speaking at the church’s annual Holy Ghost Congress, the highly respected pastor in the country said God had assured him that the virus would not kill Nigerians, saying only those who have been destined to die would be affected.

According to him, those who predicted that Africans would be wiped off by the virus were disappointed by God.

He said, “I said it in January 1 this year; I was telling them the government has done very well in fighting corona virus. – An enemy we can’t see. I said don’t be careless but don’t be afraid because there is a God who can see the invisible.

When this Corona virus broke, I cried to God and Daddy answered me. God spoke to me specifically and said, “Son, I have heard your cry. Only those whose time has come will die”.

“I heard the number of people who die by snake bite every year is about 2000. That means in two years averagely 4000 people die by snake bites. Corona virus has been around nearly two years now.

By the grace of God, it hasn’t killed 4000 yet. Take my word for it; don’t be afraid. You won’t die until your time comes.

“But when pride comes and the moment you think you can do things on your own, God will leave everything to you. God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. – James 4:6; John 15:5; God made you for his pleasure so he doesn’t like the idea of you wanting to be independent of Him”.

This is coming amid the fear of Omicron variant of the disease which is believed to be more dangerous as it posseses unusually high number of mutations that have the potential to make the virus more transmissible and less susceptible to existing vaccines.

The World Health Organization has called Omicron a “variant of concern” and warned that the global risks posed by it were “very high,” despite what officials described as a multitude of uncertainties.
