The rising sensation, took home the highly coveted Rookie of the Year award, stepping into a new era and beginning in the Nigerian music industry.

 

Odumodu Black, has quickly made a name for himself with his fresh sound and captivating stage performances. The Rookie of the Year category at the 16th Headies Awards featured a competitive lineup of emerging talents, and so his win is even extra special.

He also went on to win the best rap single for his famous song “Declan rice”. This is also the single that put him on the map of musical greatness and his most famous song.
