Naira Abuse: EFCC, Cubana Chief Priest To Settle Out Of Court
Nigerian businessman, Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu better known as Cubana Chief Priest and the Economic and Financial Crime Commission EFCC would be settling out of case over allegations of Naira abuse.
Society watch reported in Apirl that Chief Priest was arraigned by the EFCC over the charge of Naira mutilation amongst others. Pascal arrived before Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court, Lagos, and pleaded not guilty to the charges of naira abuse. The celebrity barman was granted N10 million bail.
Sharing a photo of himself after release, Cubana appreciated those who had checked on him and bragged about being famous with claims that money is water. The likes of Davido, Mercy Eke, IK Ogbonna, Isreal DMW, and others left a message for him.
In an update to his case, society watch learnt that the businessman and the commission would settle out of court.
According to reports online, the court would hear the settlement report on the 5th of June, 2024.
